Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates / Part L Compliance

EPC prices from £150 per building.

Part L Calculations prices from £150 per building.

CIBSE Accredited Energy Assessors

All non-domestic buildings over 50 square meters which are sold, rented or leased out require an Energy Performance Certificate under the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.

The EPC provides an energy rating for the building from A to G and is valid for 10 years. The certificate also comes with a Recommendations Report which details opportunities for saving energy at the property.  The recommendations include indicative costs for implementation and likely energy/carbon savings. There are no obligations to implement these recommendations as they are for reference only.

AAB Energy utilise specialist software to perform this service quickly and efficiently. We undertake a detailed site survey to document the details of the property (including building fabric, heating plant, ventilation equipment and lighting) and then model the energy performance of the property.

Once the EPC is produced we will register it on the national Landmark site in order to confirm compliance.

Please note - From 1st April 2018 all private property rented in England and Wales must ensure that their properties reach at least an EPC rating of E before granting a new tenancy to new or existing tenants.

For new build, refurbished or extended non-domestic properties energy/carbon emission calculations will be required in order to pass Part L2 of the Building Regulations. We model the building and ensure Part L compliance process is achieved using the SBEM platform. Working off your design specification and plans we are able to produce sBEM calculations at the 'Design Stage' and 'As-Built Stage'.
